Protegrity is looking for a Software Engineer, QA. You’ll work in a team of other software engineers and machine learning practitioners in designing, building and maintaining applications within the context of data security and data privacy. Responsibilities:Collaborate with software and machine learning engineers to understand project requirements and design test plans that align with project goals. Implement and maintain automated test suites for APIs, data pipelines and other systems. Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality during continuous development cycles. Work closely with developers to reproduce bugs and verify fixes. Identify and document issues in JIRA. Collaborate with DevOps to ensure robust deployments, ensuring proper logging/monitoring of systems in production. Qualifications:3+ years in software QA, with exposure to testing applications written in Python. Strong knowledge of testing frameworks, such as pytest and Robot Framework. Experience with API testing. Understanding of data validation techniques for data pipelines. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Gitlab CI/CD. Infrastructure as code tools (Terraform and CloudFormation). Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker and k8s). Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS). Strong understanding and adherence to software development best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills to work in a highly collaborative environment. Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and the characteristics of systems that integrate machine learning components. Working Model:This role is available as fa hybrid role. You will work out of your home and and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings based on business needs.
