Software Engineer - Salesforce

The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position Salesforce Service Cloud Application Engineer. Successful candidates will join a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1300 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe. We are looking for a Salesforce Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering Chapter and support the development of software solutions throughout their lifecycle. As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with business partners to understand their requirements and develop solutions that enhance business workflows. You will also configure applications, test solutions to meet business needs, and leverage on applicable technologies to automate and modernize processes. Key Responsibilities: •Work on custom applications in a single instance of salesforce using Platform capabilities, vendor package functionality and sales cloud principles. • Talk directly with our business partners to understand pain points which have resolutions varying across training, defect identification and fixing and/or future enhancements • Would include testing changes made by other techs on behalf of the business. • Oversee the deployment of solutions to production environments. • Devise, execute, and analyze system tests to verify solutions' effectiveness. • Development of high-quality code and configuration to support the functions of Salesforce for Oronite CRM instance.• Collaboration with other developers, architects and business SMEs in Agile scrum teams• Clear documentation and definition of how new/revised code operates to enable others to work with and support the code. The selected candidate will be assigned as a Software Engineer to the Sales & Product Management platform, under the Sales, Profit & Commercial Management (SPCM) product line, based on the following qualifications: Required Skills: + Experience developing with Apex, Visualforce, Javascript, Lightning Web Components + Experience configuring Flows, Approval workflows, Process Builder + Deep understanding of the security model: Sharing, Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets, etc. + Strong data modelling skills + Experience with Sales Cloud, Community Cloud + Understanding of the sales process (lead management, opportunity management, etc.) + Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical design. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience Cloud - Experience working on an Agile Team, - Experience packaging and deploying Salesforce solutions using Copado - Salesforce Low Code - Skills in Power Apps, API, Azure DevOps, Change Management are a plus Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
