We develop data services with high reliability and massive scale on top of Akamai data processing platform. **Partner with the best** You will work at the heart of building and operating a reporting system on top of the next-generation data processing platform. You will join other talented engineers in a cross-functional scrum team owning the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based services and observability products used by internal and external Akamai customers. As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for: + Understanding product requirements, designing and developing highly scalable and reliable data services. + Building and maintaining CI/CD environments. + Cooperating with external engineering teams to build and troubleshoot complex problems. + Contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle. **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience. + Have hands-on and commanding experience of developing softwares in any of the object-oriented languages (C , Java, Python, etc). + Have the ability to clearly communicate and drive technical discussions with stakeholders. + Have experience with networking protocols HTTP, DNS and familiarity with TCP, UDP. + Experience of working with systems such as Apache Airflow, Apache Spark. + Experience of working with any third-party-cloud (Azure, AWS,GCP) systems. + Have the ability to guide and mentor team members. **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
