Under little to no supervision, executes all software life cycle tasks, including process and requirements analysis, system design, programming, developing, implementing, testing, modifying, troubleshooting and maintaining computer programs. Works on systems of large size and complexity.

Major Job Responsibilities Conceptualizes design, implements, and develops solutions for complex system/programs under little to no supervisionWorks with a variety of users to gain information, and develop intra-system tradeoffs between different users, as necessary; interacts with a diverse client base and outside vendor contactsDocuments system builds and application configurations; maintains and updates documentation as neededProvides technical analysis, design, development, conversion, and implementation workWorks as a project leader, as needed, for projects of moderate complexityServes as a technical resource for applicationsCompares, evaluates, and implements new features and technologies, and integrates them into the computing environmentFollows team software development methodologyMentors lower level software developers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience5-8 years software development experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applicationsProficiency with application design and data modelingAbility to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applicationsStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clientsAbility to lead activities on structured team development projectsAbility to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methodsKnowledge of application domain Benefits and Perks
