Overview Job Title: Software Engineer Sr. Manager Employer: PepsiCo, Inc. Location: 7701 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX 75024 Responsibilities Duties: Lead complex software programs with distributed teams. Provide technical solutions to drive the software architecture for the platforms. Collaborate with Product Management to define program requirements. Collaborate with project management teams to facilitate executions of the programs. Lead and manage Software Engineer roles, goals and their career management. Hire and onboard managers and lead Software Engineers. Plan the annual budget for the programs. *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo, Inc., office Plano, Texas. Qualifications Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science and ten (10) years of experience in offered or related role(s). Must have ten (10) years of experience with: Software Development- front end and back-end technologies and front-end technologies – Native iOS/ Android, React Native, HTML, and CSS. Must have seven (7) years of experience with back-end technologies & databases – Java, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Must have five (5) years of experience with cloud platforms – Amazon web services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
