**What You Will Be Doing**
The candidate will be responsible for leading a team in Pilot Vehicle Interface \(PVI\) software development and integration activities\. This position involves integrating F\-35 PVI software with ADP\-developed PVI software on a common hardware solution to have the two software solutions working together to produce a unified PVI\. In executing this work, the candidate will be coordinating and working with both ADP PVI software developers and F\-35 PVI technical experts\. This position will require the candidate to lead a team of software developers along with supporting functions \(Systems Engineering, DevSecOps, Test Planning & Execution\), overseeing planning and execution of work\. This position involves the design and implementation of a graphics software framework\. This position will focus on the design and development of the core infrastructure used by display format software to drive a GPU and generate visuals\.
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities\. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions\. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle\. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software\. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls\. Ensures software standards are met\.
The successful candidate will be part of a high\-performing multi\-site, multi\-program team and must be self\-motivated with a strong work ethic, time\-management, and interpersonal skills\. They will work in one of our multi\-discipline Agile scrum teams, performing software development in a Dev\*Ops environment to build modern software solutions to meet customer needs\. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction and integration and test activities is required\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Experience with real\-time, embedded software development including requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit\-testing, and CSCI integration testing
• Bachelor’s degree or above in a STEM discipline required
• Experience leading Agile development
• Experience developing C\+\+ software products for embedded systems
• Ability to design an object oriented software architecture
• Special Access Clearances will be required\.
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience as a software technical lead where team members were tasked and commitments/deadlines were met
Experience with safety critical software requirements, design, and development is highly desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Self\-starter personality and ability to multi\-task
• Experience with developing graphical user interfaces, OpenGL, and Agile processes and tools
• Experience with the F\-35 Pilot Systems Software \(PSSW\)
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.
**Clearance Level:** Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
