The SWE will translate system requirements into software requirements, perform software design, and implement software applications and features in an agile environment. The candidate must have strong Java, JavaScript, and/or C++ skills. The application stack typically includes micro-services and web applications deployed in an orchestrated cloud native environment (Kubernetes/Docker). Front end applications leverage React and Redux. Day to day activities include working with domain Subject Matter Experts and Systems Engineers to fully understand system requirements, designing and development of back-end services, front-end, or full stack. The program is extending a $25,000 Sign On Bonus!

Primary Responsibilities

·  Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

·  Debug existing software and correct defects.

·  Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.

·  Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.

·  Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.

·  Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.

·  Write or review software and system documentation.

 

Basic Qualifications

Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on an Agile development teamC++JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSSReact or similar libraries (Vue, Angular)Consuming and creating REST APIs and WebSocketsExperience with JavaScript 3D libraries such as Three.js is preferred, but not required

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
