Job Description: \n

The Software Engineer will develop and manage web applications related to US Navy visualization and command and control of autonomous vehicles. This work entails developing front end browser applications, maintaining and updating communications protocols, and integrating new capability into existing Code 45 applications. This individual will conduct lab and field test and evaluation of web-based applications, manage development software configuration management, and support a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI\/CD) model to streamline development.\n

Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nFront-end web development using NodeJS, Angular, React or VueJS\nTroubleshoot issues during testing and production\nManage code deployments, fixes, updates, and software configuration management\nMaintain regular communications with customer and functional team leads\nInterest in growing in your role and career path\n\n

Requirements \/ Skills:\n\nMust be a US citizen and hold an active (within 2 years) DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or similar field with minimum 5 years' experience; degree requirements may be waived in lieu of specific advanced experience in web applications development greater than 5 years. \nDemonstrated understanding of web development tools and practices, and software engineering and development. \nExperience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux\/Unix administration (RHEL6\/CentOS6, RHEL7\/CentOS7)\nKnowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash, Python and Ruby\nExperience with configuration management and source control tools, such as Git\/Git Runner\/Jira.\nMinimum 5 years' experience.\nExperience building software packages and establishing dependencies.\n\n

Additional Skills of Interest:\n\nCode development using Java, Python, C++\nDevelop and maintain automated build, test, deployment, and infrastructure tools\nExperience performing troubleshooting in mission-critical infrastructures\nKnowledge of Defense industry standards and practices\nKnowledge of industry trends, IT operations and industry best practices to identify best implementation approaches\nActive US DoD security clearance at the Secret level\n\n
