The purpose of this role is to design, code, test, correct, and document complex programs and scripts based on agreed specifications and standards. The role involves collaborating with team members in reviewing specifications and ensuring the successful implementation of software solutions. Additionally, the role includes analysing business requirements and implementing Servicenow solutions in alignment with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Analyse business requirements, design and implement solutions.Develop applications in coordination with stakeholders and subject matter experts.Follow Software Development LIfecycle (SDLC) processes and support continuous improvement culture.Ensure solutions meet customer needs within scope, schedule, and budget.Escalate complex issues promptly and adhere to company methodologies.Ensure compliance needs are met and customer impacts are assessed.Provide support during testing, handover, and post-implementation.Estimate effort, report progress, and manage activities within budget.Maintain accuracy and timeliness of output.Mentor junior engineers and transfer knowledge effectively.

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

Experience in relational database and SQL development.Experience in Servicenow development.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.ITIL certification.Servicenow Certified System Admin (CSA) certification.
