Software Engineering & Development (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Stamford, CT): The Software Engineering & Development position supports the Company’s Office of Regulatory Initiatives (ORI), working on Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer related initiatives. The position requires a background in data analysis, application design and development with a strong understanding of RDBMS, Oracle technologies, and data warehousing. Specific duties of the position include: Working with cross-functional teams that include businesses, developers, and testers; working with the corporate architecture teams to ensure that the solution conforms to corporate architectural and security standards and controls; conducting PL/SQL development with RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server in data warehousing and OLTP environments; applying strong all-round technical knowledge and internals of RDBMS; leveraging experience in different ETL/BI methodologies and data load techniques; developing and maintaining complex systems including interface definitions with vendor products and associated workflows spanning multiple systems; working with shared services technologies; applying domain knowledge of AML/KYC field; applying data analysis skills with relational database technologies and Big Data; and utilizing knowledge of data science aspects of application data. Hybrid remote telecommuting from within the United States permitted pursuant to company policy.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field; and 5 years in any occupation/title providing experience in software development and implementation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree, or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; and 3 years in any occupation/title providing experience in software development and implementation.
Must have: Proven technical knowledge and internals of RDBMS; demonstrated experience with PL/SQL development with RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server in Data Warehousing and OLTP environments; proven experience in different ETL/BI methodologies and techniques; proven experience in shared services technologies; proven domain knowledge of AML/KYC field; proven knowledge of Data analysis; and proven experience with agile development methodology. Salary Range:
$165,568 - $200,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
