How You’ll Help Us Connect the World
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for developing and testing software features for ServAssure as part of the ANS Network Software. You will work closely with engineering team to build high quality user interface features. This role will be based in Lowell, MA.
You Will Make an Impact By
Developing user-friendly interface screens that match UX specifications Troubleshooting and fixing bugs in the product Working closely with engineers and designers to ensure the developed features meet criteria. Developing automated tests to verify the functionality of the features. Participating in code reviews and Sprint review sessions Presenting your work to senior management and product owners Documenting key aspects of your work Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering from an accredited university Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Proficient in at least one of the programming languages – Java, Javascript, Typescript or Python Knowledge in developing and consuming REST based APIs Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship. You Will Excite Us If You
Have an interest in developing in web-based user interfaces. Have experience with version control systems such as Git. Are familiar with structured and unstructured database systems. Are familiar with Agile development methodologies. Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team. Can handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines. Have strong initiative, a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities.
