Title:

KBR is looking for highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students seeking business, science, and software development opportunities that provide challenging and meaningful work experience to be a part of our summer 2025 Intern class. 

Learn and apply state-of-the-art software development practices as a member of an interdisciplinary team

Use technical and mathematical skills to analyze data and develop algorithms

Perform validation, unit testing, and regression testing of new and existing code

Learn and apply principles of software configuration management and revision control

Interpret complex information and present it in a non-technical and engaging manner

Produce documentation on work performed and make a final presentation.

Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.  

Anticipated Skill Set: 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the willingness to learn

Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, React, Angular, HTML, and CSS is preferred. 

Familiarity with agile software development principles

Experience with software development lifecycle

Working knowledge of software testing practices and automation frameworks

Experience and knowledge of engineering principles, modeling and simulation, and data analytics is preferred.

Major field of study: Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or other scientific, engineering, or technical degree.

**Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required to be considered for this position.
