The VDURA Data Platform elevates data infrastructure with unprecedented levels of performance, durability, and simplicity to accelerate cutting-edge AI and high-performance computing (HPC) applications.We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for the Spring/Summer of 2025 to join our engineering teams on-stie in Pittsburgh PA or Niwot CO for a software development project on our next generation data platform, as we continue to support the cutting-edge needs of HPC and AI applications. Location: On-site in Pittsburgh, PA, or Niwot (Boulder), CO

Job Type: Internship (Full-Time, Spring/Summer 2025) ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers to design, develop, and test software solutions.Implement and optimize features across various platforms.Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.Contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable software.Work with modern development tools and methodologies.Document development processes, solutions, and best practices.Potential ProjectsThe intern will have the opportunity to participate in one of several focus areas, including:Datapath feature to enable AI-based workloads – Enhancing system protocols and performance for AI-driven applications.New manageability UI/UX features – Developing user-friendly interfaces to improve system control and visibility.Test automation frameworks – Building and refining automated testing solutions to enhance software reliability.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.  Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework.Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and JavaScript.Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control (Git), and debugging tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Preferred QualificationsExperience in file-system development, parallel processing architectures and distributed system design.Experience in UI / UX design and full-stack UI technologies.
