Responsibilities

The Software Engineering Internship is one discipline of IDEMIA North America’s 12-week Summer Internship Program. The Software Engineer is an integral part of the Professional Services team and acts as the technical assistant for various projects creating solutions that meet customer needs relating to implementation, testing and maintenance. The intern will assist in designing and implementing fully functioning, debugged code with required documentation that meets specification requirements. 

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Design, develop, code and test software systems, or applications for software improvements and new productsContribute through participation in agile development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing, and ongoing support of systemsImpact through your recommended modifications to processes and procedures, and directly contribute to standard methodologies, architecture, and implementationMonitor production systems and debug issues as they arise Qualifications

Position Requirements:

You are a rising junior, senior, or recent graduate majoring in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Software Engineering or related curriculum with a minimum GPA of 3.0Must be authorized to work in the USBasic knowledge (demonstrated experience) in the following programming languages: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Java Server / Client, C, C++, C#, Java or PythonUnderstanding of software engineering processes, agile framework, tools, methods, test development, algorithms and data structuresDemonstrated ability to learn relevant technologiesRobust communication (written and verbal), collaboration, and problem-solving skillsDrive and eagerness to learnAbility to start working immediately upon hire 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in previous software engineering internship or projectsPassion for innovative technologies and security/identity related issues

Note: This is a hybrid role, you must be able to travel to the office.
