Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement software applications using .NET, Web API, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Angular, Azure, SQL Server and DevOps, ensuring high performance on both mobile and desktop Manage the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, designing, coding, testing, deployment, and support Maintain and enhance existing web applications and all integrated systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment using Azure and DevOps tools Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and devise solutions to address these issues Lead and mentor junior software engineers, promoting a positive team environment and fostering skill development Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that complies with company standards and best practices Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge Troubleshoot complex software issues and provide timely solutions Participate in Agile/Scrum development process and meetings Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies in software development, including AI/ML, and incorporate new technologies as appropriate into solution design Perform feasibility analysis for new systems and upgrades Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to identify software solutions and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget Proactively identify areas for improvement or enhancement in current architecture Support the creation of system and user documentation Ensure application security by designing appropriate infrastructure and applying security patches and upgrades when necessary Conduct performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation Take responsibility for feature-focused unit and system testing, contributing to performance and load testing activities Analyzes and investigates Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Angular, Azure, and DevOps 10+ years of experience Azure cloud services and experience in managing cloud-based applications Hands-on experience in designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance Extensive experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL), web servers, and UI/UX design Solid experience in DevOps practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing Solid knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, and agile best-practices Current and deep knowledge of multiple programming languages including C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript Proficient in backend and frontend development using .NET as well as frontend development using Angular Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review Proven solid problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proven solid commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work Proven excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Proven ability to learn new software technologies and stay updated with the latest industry trends Demonstrated ability to lead a team of junior developers, including mentoring and code reviews Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
