Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience. + 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). + 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role. + 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale distributed systems. Preferred qualifications: + Experience with high-volume, highly available, scalable, distributed systems like Google’s Infrastructure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). + Experience in using agile methodologies and tooling. + Ability to inspire and motivate the Engineering team to work together as a cohesive unit. + Ability to drive collaborative cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution. + Passion for technology and technical depth to uncover root causes of complex technical problems and provide guidance on solving them. + Excellent bias for action and sense of urgency in driving execution. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
