In just four years, we’ve acquired and turned around brands including: Sur La Table, Direct Buy, One Kings Lane and Touch of Modern saving thousands of jobs. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will take a hands-on role to design technical approaches, contribute as an individual, and help build our team(s). We expect every member of the team, including you, to be regularly reading and writing code. You should like to code, profile, tinker, refactor, and engineer, not just manage people. Because our Engineering Managers are expected to be at least 50% hands on, our interview process includes coding challenges.
