As the Engineering Manager for various Forestry projects at Trimble, your pivotal role involves driving the success of our cutting-edge solutions. Leading a talented engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver high-quality software products on web and cloud-based platforms that address evolving customer needs. 

Beyond overseeing project execution and leading a talented engineering team, this position strongly emphasizes customer success, incorporating deep product management expertise to ensure our solutions not only meet but exceed customer expectations. The Engineering Manager is instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of various projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and contributing to the overall success of Trimble in the dynamic and evolving Trimble Platform technologies.

What Skills & Experience You Should Have

B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree with a good JEE / AIEEE / GATE score.

Proven expertise in leading teams to deliver high-quality software products on web and cloud-based platforms (Azure / AWS Cloud technologies).

In-depth understanding of full-stack development, covering both frontend and backend technologies.

Proficient in one of the programming languages C# / Java 

Hands-on experience in consuming Soap/Restful APIs, and knowledge of JSON / XML 

Development experience in Node.js, Typescript, and Angular/Angular JS/React JS will be an added advantage.

Demonstrated proficiency in agile development methodologies, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time.

Deep knowledge of product management principles and practices, with the ability to contribute to product roadmaps and strategies.

A strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to shaping the strategic direction of Trimble projects and aligning them with overall business objectives.

This position will be based out of our office in Mexicali, Mexico.  Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
