We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and support the engineering team as we embark on a multi-year initiative that has high visibility throughout the organization. About the job: The Software Engineering Manager will lead a team of talented engineers on a mission to build awesome software that not only solves real customer problems but also fuels our company’s growth. In this role, you’ll team up with other departments, guide and inspire your engineers, and create an environment where innovation, improvement, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned pro, with a knack for managing successful software projects, leading dynamic engineering teams, and crafting scalable, rock-solid systems. You should have experience in building secure backend services, delivering jaw-dropping mobile experiences, and designing immersive, user-friendly UX that leaves users amazed. The ARCOS development team works with technologies like Java, Spring Boot, AWS RDS, AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS), REST, JavaScript, and React Native for mobile development, all hosted on AWS and utilizing Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence. What you’ll do + Inspire and guide a powerhouse team of engineers to craft high-quality, production-ready software that’s as reliable as it is maintainable. + Ownership of delivering successful outcomes by guiding the team in setting best practices for estimation, story scoping, balancing trade-offs, and meeting commitments. + Team up with Product, Design, and Architecture to shape the game plan, turn big-picture goals into actionable tasks, and make sure the team crushes both product and tech objectives. + Work with recruiting team to scout and hire top-notch engineers. Compensation The targeted base salary range for this position is $150k - $170k based on relevant skills, experience and other job related knowledge, with an annual bonus eligibility of 20% of the base salary, dependent on company and individual performance.
