Specifically, the team currently focuses on AirTag, Find My features for AirPods/Pencil/Remote, and Bluetooth connectivity, and plays a supporting role in other areas. Depending on the candidate’s qualifications, we may be in a position to re-organize some of the responsibilities for the team. **Description** The Proximity and Context team is actively looking for a highly-motivated and experienced software engineering manager to lead our team. Due to the cross-functional nature of our work, the ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work well with a large variety of people within Apple. The candidate also must be technically strong, have an established track record of managing projects, and have experience shipping software. The candidate needs to show initiative, take ownership of a number of technical areas, and assume responsibility for leading all the related aspects that need to be coordinated to achieve success. The candidate should also be able to make intelligent choices when taking into consideration product-level constraints on system performance, privacy, security, and power. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
