The primary and majority function of this job is to manage a team. Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts. Has comprehensive and diversified knowledge of methods and practices in broad areas of the customers’ industry. Acts as Technical lead of projects that span multiple products. Sets the technical direction for more than one area of a product.Sought out by others to solve their most complex of technical problems. Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and roadblocks.Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, considering technical feasibility and business impact.Fostering a culture of innovation and encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.Proactively identify potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Understanding cost implications of cloud solutions and optimizing resource utilization.Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and industry trends.Commitment to staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.Understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
Skillsets Required: Strong leadership skills - Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills.Strong analytical and organizational skillsExpert knowledge of SLC, SAFe Agile and other life cycle methodologyMinimum 10 years of software development experience in the technologies like client/server architecture, C++, Java, Web technologiesMinimum 5 years of experience in leading product development teamExpertise in Teamcenter or other PLM products preferredExposure to developing and operating cloud solutionsDeep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks.Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).Understanding of cloud security principles, encryption, and vulnerability management.Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering
