We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineering Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management:Lead the procurement, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premise servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Evergreening Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for server evergreening to keep infrastructure up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Patching and Updates: Establish and manage a patch management process to ensure all servers are regularly updated with security patches and software updates.
• Scaling and Optimization: Monitor server performance and capacity, and implement scaling strategies to accommodate growth and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues. Set up alerting mechanisms to notify the team of any critical incidents.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Security, and Application Development, to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of server configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure that all infrastructure activities comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Budget Management: Assist in managing the budget for infrastructure procurement and maintenance, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of infrastructure failures.
