**Summary:** Smart Glass NTI (New Technology Integration) team brings new platforms to enable cutting edge technology and silicon integration to the Smart Glass product line. This role will manage an engineering team to design and develop cutting edge prototype platforms for Smart Glass hosting new technologies and new silicon **Required Skills:** Software Engineering Manager Responsibilities: 1. Build and lead teams to deliver Android/RTOS proto platforms for Smart Glass 2. Collaborate across electrical, silicon, software, user experience, and firmware teams to define and build software components 3. Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers 4. Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with the engineering and management teams 5. Build development processes that allow for rapid development and experimentation while maintaining a high quality product. 6. Understand and drive implementation of quality software development practices across teams and projects. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 7. MS or BS in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent 8. Working experience with using standard software development frameworks 9. 2+ years of experience in directly managing/leading teams. 10. 8+ years expertise in software/firmware development for consumer electronics products 11. Experience building a team to scale across multiple products. 12. Experience working with silicon vendor provided packages and solutions **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 13. Specialized experience in two or more of the following areas: RTOS, Kernel, AOSP service, Connectivity 14.
