To support our Global R&D team, we are currently looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer located in Stuttgart, DE. Reporting into the VP for Design, Process and Technology Engineering, the new Lead Software Development Engineer will drive technical direction, manage projects, and ensures high-quality software delivery, as well as oversee and mentors a development team.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

Technical leadership of a software engineering teamInterface to customers and 3rd party suppliers                                       Responsible for assessments of software projects and mapping to Flex software capabilitiesResponsible for driving projects together with the team dealing with Power Electronics and Compute ECUs           Act as project owner and demonstrate a complete understanding of software projects                                                                                       Responsible for providing detailed technical specification and accurate project level estimates for engineering effort

Degree in electrical engineering or computer science with electronics backgroundMinimum 5 years' experience in Automotive or related industries in complex software engineering projectsExperience in in software development for vehicle bus communication and high speed interfacesExperience with EE architecture and various SW configuration - Autosar experience is beneficialKnowledge of automotive functional safety requirements (ISO26262), Cyber Security and Automotive Spice Fluent in English, extensive experience in both written and spoken; German is beneficial
