**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
We're looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Global Customs & Trade Engineering team. This Manager will be an engineering leader, leading 2 small teams working on Customs & Trade capabilities and platforms. We are part of a bigger Transportation & Trade Tech organisation under Supply Chain & Planning Technology.
This person will have confirmed experience in leading agile teams focused on building, implementing, and supporting business capabilities. They will have a solid and up-to-date understanding of modern software development.

**WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH**
As the Software Engineering Manager, you will be a member of the Global Customs & Trade management team, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering for Customs & Trade (EMEA), and will be located at the World Head Quarters in Beaverton (Portland-Oregon), USA.
You will lead our US-based engineering teams which are linked to several products in the Customs & Trade product area. You will liaise with Business Stakeholders, Product Management, Architecture, and Support counterparts at Nike to execute Nike's Customs & Trade roadmap aligned with our Global platform strategy.
**WHAT YOU BRING**
+ Bachelor Degree or a combination of relevant education, training and experience
• Experience in leading teams
• Seven years of hands-on Software Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience working in an environment driven by agile/lean principles.
• Hands-on experience in software development, from idea to delivery.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, API design, Microservices, AWS cloud-native development
• An effective communicator who can discuss low-level tactics with the engineering teams as well as translate highly technical topics into a business-related communication
• Effective organizer that can seamlessly navigate between multiple ambiguous timelines and priorities • Be an open-minded leader that is a constant learner, passionate about modern software development, and thrives in a diverse organization
• Experience with Domain Driven Design is a plus
