Software Engineering Manager - Manufacturing & Industrial Systems
**Job Description** As a Software Engineering Manager, you will oversee a team of full stack software engineers responsible for the full software development lifecycle of global manufacturing software solutions. This role includes both people management responsibilities and deep, hands-on technical work, ensuring that you remain engaged with the technical aspects of projects while leading your team to success. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a positive team culture. + Oversee the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, validation, and optimization. + Engage in hands-on technical work to guide and support the team in solving complex technical challenges. + Establish and execute software product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. + Drive Agile (SCRUM/SAFe) methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment with Intel Foundry's goals and objectives. + Provide regular updates to senior leadership and manage stakeholder relationships effectively. + Inspire and develop team members, applying differentiated performance management to achieve results. + A fearless attitude towards innovation and challenging the status quo. **Qualifications** Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. + Minimum of 10 years of experience in executing large software development projects, preferably in a global enterprise or manufacturing environment. + Minimum of 5 years of experience leading diverse software development teams. + Proficiency in software development, cloud computing, AI/ML, test automation, CICD, and/or modern development DevOps tools & technologies. + Candidate must be willing to perform hands on work to solve complex, technical software development problems as needed in addition to the managerial responsibilities. + Proven track record of delivering business outcomes using Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Scrum Master or Product Owner certifications are preferred. + Advanced communication skills in English including verbal & written. + Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to make sound technical decisions. + Customer-focused mindset with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders. **Inside this Business Group** Intel Foundry is dedicated to transforming the global semiconductor industry by delivering cutting-edge silicon process and packaging technology leadership for the AI era.
