Software Engineering Manager - US Remote

Your journey starts here! **What you’ll do:** As an Engineering Manager within Cartus, you will be part of our Product & Technology organization focused on our Foundational services team. This team was initially created to implement critical authentication system upgrades and is now positioned to evolve into a group that addresses core infrastructure and architectural needs. You'll help guide the team's development to balance immediate project deliverables while working toward becoming a resource for framework improvements, architectural guidance, and technical infrastructure that supports our broader technology ecosystem. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience. + 5+ years as an Engineering Manager leading teams that ship client-facing software + 10+ years professional experience as a Software Engineer. + Expertise with both SQL and Non-SQL systems. + Expertise with C#, .NET, NodeJS, Typescript. + Familiarity with both AWS and Azure as cloud providers + Experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate team members. + Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. **Desired Qualifications:** + Knowledge of both TFS and Gitlab + Knowledge of Angular + Regular user of AI models and AI-based tools, having completed at least one business initiative using AI. + Knowledge of technology transformation and modernization initiatives, including the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms/implementation of new technologies. + Experience working with global teams in a remote work environment spanning multiple time zones. + Experience in agile methodologies and project management.
