Those in software engineering at PwC will focus on developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. In this field, you will use your knowledge to design, code, and test cutting-edge applications that revolutionise industries and deliver exceptional user experiences.

React:
Proven expertise in architecting large-scale React applications.
Deep understanding of React ecosystem and integration with third-party tools.
Exp with State management libraries (Redux, Context API)
Ability to mentor teams in React best practices, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.

Node.js:
Experience in designing distributed systems with Node.js.
Experience on Microservices architecture.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Advanced understanding of security protocols (OAuth, OWASP security principles).
Proficiency in handling large-scale application performance issues.
Expertise in designing scalable, modular, and maintainable full-stack solutions.
Strong grasp of architectural patterns (e.g., monolith, microservices, serverless).
Experience leading migration from monolithic to microservices-based systems.

Team Leadership:
Ability to guide teams through code reviews, technical decisions, and best practices.
Strong skills in project planning, cost estimation, and stakeholder communication.
Experience driving large-scale software delivery with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Additional Expectations:
Code versioning: Version control systems (Git) and Release management,
Proficiency on Monitoring(production environment) and Logging tools.
Familiar with unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha and Enzyme.
Exposure to multiple frontend/backend frameworks for broader perspective.
Involvement in strategic decisions like product roadmaps, technology selection, and vendor evaluations.
Capability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Ability to introduce and advocate for new technologies and processes that improve team efficiency and product quality.
