The Position

Join and help shape the future of DevOps, cloud, and network automation! The selected candidate will shape how network self-service capabilities look in a modern global enterprise. The Team oversees automation across multiple technology areas including (but not limited to): Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), Data Center Networking, Firewall/IPS Technologies, DNS, and IPAM.

The role is to design, develop & maintain software systems around Public Cloud, Data Center Networking, Domain Name & Addressing Services, and Network Firewall Services.

Our tech stack consists of cloud native services (serverless, API gateways, databases, etc), Ansible, Terraform, Python, GitHub Actions and GitHub.

What will you do?

Develop self-service automation solutions within a Global Network Services Organization.Develop, maintain & support Python code.Develop, maintain & support Ansible playbooks.Advance existing IaC framework to satisfy new demand.Develop efficient ways to deploy & run automation solutions.Participate in network automation community of practice.Become a point of contact for selected product.Participate in evaluating new technologies and tools.Cooperate closely with Network Infrastructure Engineers, Software Developers, and
a variety of Global Stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution OR equivalent relevant working experience.Skilled in designing solutions that address complex integration challenges while considering scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.Understanding of IP-based communication networks (CCNA level, actual certification not required).Understanding of network management and network operations.Practical experience with DevSecOps.Solid understanding of Ansible and Configuration as a Code concept.At least an intermediate experience in Python.Solid understanding of AWS offerings and how they can be used in solution design.Hands on experience with Infrastructure as a Code.Strong willingness to keep learning new technologies.Able to establish good working relationships globally and collaborate with networks of employees at all levels.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present to both technical and non-technical business audiences.

Nice to have

Experience in network configuration.Knowledge of ITIL framework.Practical experience with SDLC.
