Role and Responsibilities:

 

Lead research and design for the introduction of new Juniper products. Oversee testing strategy and execution for network solutions. Independently understand customer solutions and develop comprehensive test cases. Manage customer escalations, POCs, and RFPs independently. Collaborate with customers and account teams to understand requirements and devise test strategies. Develop an automation framework to support customer use case testing. Review software functional specifications and unit tests. Develop test plans, test harnesses, and test cases. Conduct performance and scaling tests. Assist software developers in debugging issues and creating bug reports. Create scripting and white-box tools for organization-wide use to address daily challenges. Script and execute regression tests after software integration on integration branches. Write knowledge base articles to document common issues and their resolutions for organizational reference.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum of 15 years of experience with large automation test frameworks. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Perl, Python, etc. Deep understanding of Cloud, Enterprise, and Service Provider networking architectures and technologies. Proficiency with Linux and related bash tools. Expertise in MPLS, TCP/IP fundamentals, and commonly used routing protocols (OSPF, BGP). Experience in configuring and setting up Juniper or Cisco routers is a plus. Excellent documentation skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Network certifications (or equivalent training/experience) are an added advantage. Knowledge of AI & ML is a plus!
