NVIDIA's networking performance tools team is looking for a motivated student to join our team. NVIDIA's networking group is dedicated to developing high-performance tools that push the boundaries of accelerated computing and AI. Our Team's tools are essential for internal and external customers, benchmarking and analyzing networking performance, ensuring that our technologies operate at their best.
If you're passionate about coding, eager to learn, and excited to work with innovative technologies, we'd love to hear from you! This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development, working with both low-level and high-level technologies. Our work ranges from hardware interfacing to delivering polished software tools. Some of our deliveries are integrated into the DOCA SDK (https://developer.nvidia.com/networking/doca), while others are open-source, welcoming contributions from the community.
What You Will Be Doing:
Collaborate with experienced engineers to develop, improve and test software tools for networking performance measurement and analysis
Develop in coding in languages such as C++ and Python
Practice modern software engineering, including design, testing, DevOps, etc.
Participate in code reviews and gain insights into writing maintainable and extendable software
Learn about various technologies and tools used in the industry, such as Ethernet, InfiniBand, and more
What we need to see:
Currently pursuing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
At least 3 semesters till graduation, available to work 2 days a week
Strong academic understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
A passion for coding
Experience from past employment, academic, or personal projects related to software development
Familiarity with Linux environment and tools
