FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineers II in Jacksonville, FL to analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: designing and developing .Net application in fintech; performing C#/.Net development in a software development role within a commercial software environment; writing code that adheres to defined standards; utilizing software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management and build processes; identifying and solving issues in unfamiliar code; working with relational databases including SQL Server and Oracle; and working with and troubleshooting web technologies and frameworks including ASP.Net, TypeScript, Knockout, Angular, MVVM and APIs and troubleshooting them.
