As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace Technology within the Training Solutions organization you would be a part of a technically competent domain expert team responsible for designing, developing and bringing out windows based avionics simulation of Honeywell Avionics that gets integrated into Full flight Simulators and Procedure Trainers which are in turn used to train pilots. In this role, in addition, you would be interacting actively with customers, helping them solve the integration challenges they face while integrating our solutions with their systems. You will be an active and integral member of this expert team, working to generate innovative solutions to challenging problems, trying different and novel ways to make systems better and in that process you will learn a lot on Avionics cutting across systems. 
Brief expectation of this role:
Own and execute EPIC based Avionics rehost with primary focus on FMS and Displays productsOwn the Technical design and challenges related to product functioning and performanceBe accountable for resolving issues faced by customers Work with mentors to implement improvement strategy to address quality and to bring down the turnaround time for issue resolution and for rehost activitiesActively participate in Improvement drives and initiatives To meet the above expectations the candidate should possess:
Hands on experience with C++ Programming VC++ development experience and sound exposure in Visual Studio IDE is a mustOpen GL exposure is an added advantageExposure to Avionics Architectures/platforms is preferredGood Version Control tools knowledge (preferably Clear Case)Experience working in life cycle stages of Software Product Development Life cycleExposure to Avionics Product development is preferredExperience working with FMS or Displays productline is an added advantageShould possess ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerShould be a Team Player with sound communication skillsShould collaborate with diverse teams with varied experience levels and domainShould have killer instinct for driving improvementsShould be a Hands-on person, working with the team, mentoring and at the same time learning 
QUALIFICATION: BE/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech ExperienceEXPERIENCE: 4 to 8 years of Work experience on Aerospace systems
