Software-Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer
Johnson Service Group is looking for a contract  Software/Hardware Quality Assurance  Engineer to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX.

Must have AT LEAST 2+ years directly related work experience with aerospace/defense industry software processes (such as RTCA DO-178C, RTCA DO-254, SAE ARP-4754, AC 20-115D, MIL-STD-498, DI-MISC-80508B, etc.).
****Must have Experience with software development methodologies, including requirements management, design, coding, and testing.
****Proficiency in software quality assurance techniques and methodologies.
****Familiarity with software testing tools and techniques, including static analysis, code coverage analysis, and test case management.
****Excellent communication and documentation skills to clearly articulate technical issues and findings.
****Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with engineers across different disciplines
******Education:
****Bachelor of Science Degree is required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science or other related degrees.

******This position participates in monitoring every phase of the software development process to ensure design quality, making sure that the aircraft delivered software adheres to the standards set by the development company and satisfies regulatory requirements.
****Ensure compliance and quality of software development for airborne systems by verifying the development process adheres to DO-178C guidance and military standards.
****Software development lifecycle oversight by actively monitoring and reviewing all phases of software development process, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and verification to ensure compliance with guidance and standards. Experience in software requirements development, Software design, source code (C/C++, Python programming languages), and verification is a great addition.
****Handle software process auditor work scope, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery milestone schedule.
****Interface with systems and software development personnel, test and evaluation personnel, and project managers.
****Review and approve systems, software and test equipment requirements, design, and test documentation for compliance to process requirements and standards.
****Participate/interface with the engineering counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual and company process requirements and standards.
****Participate in the software change control process boards
****Work with SMEs and all stakeholders with minimal direction from the manager or senior level peer to support technical issues as they relate to software quality.
****Able to conduct reviews and formal and informal audits to suppliers during software and hardware development.
****Continue to develop your knowledge base through research, training, and hands-on experience.
****Embedded software/hardware verification background or knowledge.
****Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques along with the software development methods and software testing methods.
****Ability to interpret schematic drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of systems & software processes.
****Ability to travel may be required to support program activities and auditing software suppliers up to 10% as the business requires.
