Your Mission:
As a Software Integration Engineer, you will play a vital role in the integration, configuration, and sustainment of software in a hybrid environment. Working with cutting-edge technologies, you will contribute to a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Linux environment, supporting an on-premise cloud offering built with open-source tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Weka. Your expertise in containerization and DevOps principles will drive innovation, enabling efficient delivery of software tools and services.You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:A problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environmentsComfortable switching between various architectural paradigmsEager to work in a containerized landlord/tenant environment and develop tools that enhance software production efficiencyPassionate about collaborating across teams to support advanced computing and DevOps cultureA Day in the Life:Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating systemsManage software sustainment efforts, including updates and documentation for the full software stackWrite and execute test codes to assess and characterize software performanceMonitor and troubleshoot large Linux clusters, leveraging tools such as Prometheus and GrafanaAdminister and monitor Kubernetes clusters, using Helm for deployment and GitLab CI/CD pipelines to optimize workflowsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation with tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or PuppetCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software efficiency and performanceUse Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Git for version control and task managementMust Haves:TS/SCI clearance with polygraphBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with eight (8)+ years of related experience or five (5) years of full-time Computer Science experience can substitute for a degree, with an additional eight (8) years in relevant rolesExperience with Linux CLI and basic system administrationProficiency in scripting using Bash and PythonKnowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system componentsExperience with containerization technologies like DockerHands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and monitoringExpertise in troubleshooting large-scale Linux clustersFamiliarity with system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)Experience with version control systems like GitNice to HaveExperience deploying Kubernetes applications using HelmFamiliarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principlesAbout us: We are an experienced advanced analytic development company providing Cyber solutions to current and emerging missions.
