We offer a flexible work environment, a 9/80 work schedule, and can work with you to determine a schedule that will work with your course load. _Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status._ **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other scientific degree with strong software content. + Completed Junior year of college by Summer 2025 + Strong problem-solving skills that translate to working, maintainable software. + Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret clearance in the future **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Preferred: + Demonstrated proficiency in a high level software language such as Java, C , C, or Python + Coursework or other experience in embedded software development. + Working knowledge of software tools such as Jira, BitBucket, debuggers, containers, etc. + Experience with Agile Development and DevSecOps + Experience developing on Windows/Linux Operating Systems + Familiarity with Unit Testing frameworks + Active Secret Clearance **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $54631 - $73789 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
