The company has three manufacturing sites and research and development offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools and steering systems, and now a fourth plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors.
PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production commenced in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

You are the authorisation management expert. In this role, you support managers and application owners in authorisation topics for our IT systems.Advice on authorisation management, role assignments and cleaning up critical authorisations are a matter of course for you.You regularly clean up IT authorisations and monitor compliance with the central Bosch IT roles concept. In this way, you reduce the risk of IT security gaps and misuse of IT rights.Main contact for audits. For audit provide all necessary information regarding Access Management.You also carry out various checks on assigned IT authorisations and their handling, derive measures for action if necessary and follow up on their implementation consistently.You support the operational capacity of the departments by adapting central role concepts to local specifics and special requirements and support auditors and provide the necessary information.You are part of the automation initiative by further developing and implementing new concepts and tools such as the Business Role Catalog at the location and are the first contact person for authorisation problems, take over the tracking of 2nd and 3rd level support requests and ensure the reliable maintenance of organisational data in job concepts.You also train and inform managers, application owners and end users.Last but not least, you act as an interface to the central office and are in continuous exchange with the corresponding networks.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in a related field.Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
