Tasks and Mission

Mission:

·Software Design and Testing for “GEMNI 2” platform driver and standard module

·Support to Application Software Engineer in the use of standard module

Tasks:

·Application of the SIL2/SIL4 (according to EN 50128, EN 50657) process on new Standard Modules

·Maintenance of the evolution of the Standard Modules and achievement / maintenance of SIL2/SIL4 (according to EN 50128, EN 50657) certification

·Development of GEMINI 2 applications for standard module testing

·Development of Monitoring programs and other PC tools when needed

Collaboration with Software Application Engineers during project development

Skills Requirements

·Degree educated with experience in writing real time software/firmware for embedded electronic systems

·High knowledge of the C programming language

·Basic knowledge of HTML, PHP and JavaScript language

·Knowledge of software developments tools. In particular are appreciated:

oStP Software trough Pictures

oNational Instruments CVI

oQAC MISRA software static analyser

oMotorola Microcontroller Compilers and Linkers

oTrace32 Debuggers and scripting

· Knowledge of the international software railway standards (for example EN 50128, EN 50657, IEEE 1558) is highly appreciated

· Knowledge of communication networks and protocols related to railways (MVB, ethernet, CAN), including basic concept of cybersecurity, is highly appreciated

·Good problem solver, capable of working with minimal supervision to define solutions for cross-discipline problems

·Good team worker, liaising with both internal and external development teams

·Good communicator, capable of presenting technical and progress issues to the management and external customers

·Language: Italian and English
