**Description and Requirements**
**■About Organization**
Lenovo Japan Yokohama Office (Yamato Laboratory) is core development center of ThinkPad notebook PC products, andDeviceDriver development will be assigned to Solution & Ecosystem team under its organization.

**■Job Brief**
We are seeking a skilled Software Project Manager to oversee the development and delivery of device driver and Lenovo SW solution for our ThinkPad product line. In this role, you will defineand followproject timelines, deliverables, and milestones for software development andlead SW bug tracking forThinkPad products. You will also manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of software development processes and quality control.
**■Responsibilities**
· Quality Control of Device Drivers from Key Partners:
o Develop and design test scripts for device drivers.
o Monitor and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery of driver updates.
o Oversee and resolve software-related issues impacting ThinkPad devices, ensuring smooth user experience and functionality.
· Understanding of new technologyand suggest optimal design for ThinkPad products based on discussion with key partners.
o Stay current withnewtechnologies and trends.
o Collaborate with key partners to propose optimal designs and solutions for ThinkPad products.
· Software Project Management for ThinkPad Products:
o Lead and coordinateSW Issue tracking, ensuring all milestones are met for successful and timely delivery.
o Oversee and resolve software-related issues impacting ThinkPad devices, ensuring smooth user experience and functionality.
o Proactive communication with other teams to identify essence of issues, then lead team to resolution.
· Collaboration with ODMs, IHVs, and ISVs:
o Manage and work closely with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs), and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
**■Qualifications**
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
· Strong expertise inSWproject management, issue isolation and SW test design
· Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
**■Key Interaction with:**
· Lenovo ThinkPad development teams in Lenovo Yokohama office.
· Lenovo development teams in Lenovo China/USA offices.
· External ODM and ISV/IHV partner companies in China/Taiwan, United States
**■** **Must Have – essential**
- Knowledge about project management.
- Fluent English communication skill for both written (e-mail etc.) and verbal for daily activities. (Ref: TOEIC score 600 or above)
- DailyJapanese conversation skill iftheapplicant’s native languageis notJapanese.
- Logical communication skill
**■** **Good to have – desirable**
- Experience of S/W project management or Driver/FW development.
- PMP
- Knowledgeof PC display.
- Project management skill
- TOEIC score 730 or above.
- Familiar at Windows and Intel architecture/development.
