As a CVT Solution qualification engineer, you will collaborate with very hardworking, dynamic, passionate, and diverse team members to work on qualification and automation of innovative technologies, XR platforms and solutions for deployment in high-end Cisco Web & Service Provider customers touching an endless number of users worldwide.

You will be responsible to:Design, automate, configure & qualify customer use cases based on IOS-XR based ASR9K, NCS5500, NCS5000, 8000 platformsGenerate Test plan and dynamisms in deriving priority based on customer demands with right set of technical expertise/skills in each areaDesign and develop brand new test framework and tools to support test execution environment.Develop Web based GUIs to use analytics and Machine learning to thoughtfully display and analyze execution resultsImplement test cases manually and through automation, raise, track, prioritize, and verify defects and fixesPro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to Test coverage, execution and automation. Optimize performance and dimensioning of configurations.Reproduce customer issues in internal tests lab as requested by customer support teamGenerate Test execution reports and technical whitepapersCollaborate with teams across geographies in multiple continents.Who You'll Work with

Who You Are

You have passion to qualify and automate SP, web networking solutions and use cases to ensure smooth deployment by these customers. You have experience qualifying, deploying, troubleshooting and/or maintaining SP/web networking technologies and especially XR platforms. Network design and/or deployment experience is helpful.

Minimum qualificationsYou own Bachelors in a technical field (CS/EE preferred)You have at least 14 years of Software Quality assurance experience in network automation and, protocol testing and experience supporting Web/Service-provider customersYou have a Cisco Routing & Switching/Service Provider backgroundYou are knowledgeable in Routing hardware/platforms/forwarding architecture and networking technologiesYou have good knowledge and configuration/troubleshooting experience in Protocols : ISIS/OSPF,BGP, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing, IPv6, MPLS-LDP/RSVP-TE, Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf & Open Config Yang ModelsYou have good network automation skills using Python/GoLangand good hands-on experience automating features on networking devices & traffic generatorsYou have good knowledge in network automation tools like pyATS, Ansible, Jenkins, Robot framework & Cisco NSO.You have good experience in any of CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntu UNIX/Linux and expertise on Bash/Unix Shell ScriptingStrong desire to learn with an ability to tackle sophisticated problems creativelyExcellent multi-tasking, written & verbal communication, and organizational skillsMust be result-oriented and have a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibilityDesired qualificationsYou possess a CCIE (Routing & Switching / Service Provider / Data Center)You have extensive hands-on experience on the following platforms: ASR9K, NCS5500, NCS5000, NCS540/NCS560, NCS6K, CRS, 8000Experience in OpenFlow, Netconf & REST APIWhy Cisco
