We are looking for a skilled Big Data Analyst to join our team focused on analyzing data from pre/post-launched Samsung mobile products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile network related field with a strong understanding of big data technologies and mobile device ecosystems. This role offers the opportunity to work with vast datasets to derive insights and optimize mobile device performance.

Strategy Development & Execution

Retrieve and analyze large datasets from various sources, including mobile devices, sensors, and user interactions, using SQL queries.Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to clean, transform, and integrate data from disparate sources.Perform in-depth analysis of mobile device usage patterns, performance metrics, and user behaviors to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.Create and maintain documentation for data schemas, pipelines, and analysis methodologies.Build interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.Stay updated on the latest developments in SQL technologies, big data frameworks, and mobile device trends to continuously improve analytical capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of experience in SQL development and database management, with proficiency in complex query optimization and performance tuning.Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Knowledge of mobile device architectures, operating systems (Android), and mobile app development is a plus.

Skill sets:

Data Analysis: Ability to perform advanced data analysis and interpretation using SQL, including aggregations, joins, and window functions. Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing is a plus.

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Knowledge of ETL tools and techniques for data integration, preprocessing, and cleansing is desirable. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automating ETL processes is also desirable.

Database Management: Solid understanding of relational database concepts and database management best practices. Experience with database administration tasks such as schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.

Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing concepts. Experience with handling large-scale datasets and parallel processing is advantageous.

Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques for creating interactive dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib/seaborn). Ability to effectively communicate insights through visualizations.

Mobile Device Ecosystem: Understanding of mobile device architectures, operating systems (e.g., Android), and mobile app development concepts. Knowledge of mobile device performance metrics, sensor data, and Android internals is beneficial.

Android Knowledge: Familiarity with Android development frameworks, APIs, and tools. Understanding of mobile application lifecycle, UI/UX design principles, and performance optimization techniques on the Android platform.

Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, develop presentations, and prepare documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or predictive analytics is a plus.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in preparing technical documentation and presentations.

Continuous Learning: Eagerness to stay updated on the latest developments in SQL technologies, big data analytics, Android development, and mobile device trends. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
