Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge PCB design and simulation software, Pollex. As part of the QA team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and collaborating with the development team to deliver exceptional software solutions for PCB design.
Should have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronics and Communication.
What You Will Do:
Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and usability. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively. Automation Testing: Maintain and extend automated test scripts to ensure efficient and repeatable testing processes. Feature Validation: Test new features, ensuring they meet functional requirements and adhere to design specifications. Performance Testing: Conduct performance benchmarking to ensure the software operates efficiently across various use cases and environments. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed test reports and provide feedback on ways the user experience could be improved. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging QA trends, tools, and methodologies, recommending enhancements to improve the QA process.What You Will Need:
Basics:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or physics. Solid understanding of PCB design workflows – from layout and placement to design rule checking and verification. Analytical mindset with good problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with simulation software. Fluent in English.Preferred:
Signal and power integrity knowledge. Some understanding of EMC principles required for PCB design (crosstalk noise/Jitter/etc…) Experience with Pollex or other PCB design software such as Altium. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Experience in software quality assurance, preferably for engineering or simulation software.How You Will Be Successful:
