Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join us in Ireland. As a Quality Engineer, the role is primarily that of an individual contributor who collaborates closely with other Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams. You will expand existing tests and design and implement new functional and nonfunctional tests, review test results, debug failures, and report outcomes. You will collaborate with engineers within your team and across other teams. You will need to have a passion for working in open-source communities and for developing reference architectures that integrate Red Hat, open-source, and partner technologies into a cohesive platform. What you will do
Participate in AI/ML upstream communities to ensure the technologies work on OpenShift and can be integrated with RHOAI
Work with upstream AI/ML communities to evaluate new AI/ML-related technologies from partners and create examples of integrations between their technology and RHOAI
Integrate new open-source AI/ML components into Red Hat OpenShift AI
Present at OpenShift/Kubernetes, and AI/ML-related technology conferences and internally within the AI/ML communities of practice
What you will bring3+ years of software quality engineering experience including test automation using object-oriented languages; Python and Golang are preferred
Experience managing Linux-based systems in a production environment
Demonstrated experience in container-related technologies like Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
Proficient in version control systems such as Git
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
