The Red Hat Subscription Management team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join us in Brno. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on the Red Hat’s Subscription-Watch project focused on developing & testing cloud-native applications for our subscription utilization, reporting, and billing platform.
In this role you will work very closely with the development team and other quality engineers to develop and automate new test cases contributing to an already existing regression suite.

What you will do
Develop and execute python based automated test cases for Subscription-WatchExpand test plans by creating test cases to cover new features or updating existing test cases to reflect changes in the softwareTroubleshoot failures and write clear bug reports and track them to closureWork with other members of Engineering to debug and troubleshoot problemsKeep status up-to-date in relevant tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)What you will bring
Experience in Python, particularly with object-oriented programming concepts, Python’s standard library, Pytest, and other commonly used libraries (i.e. Requests).Basic experience in Java is major plusIntroductory experience with Linux / Unix commandsBasic debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skillsExperience with writing automated tests and contributing to an existing test frameworkWritten and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience with source code control (GIT preferred)Experience with continuous integration testing (e.g. Jenkins, Tekton, Github Actions) is a plus Knowledge of container technologies is a plus.General knowledge of Agile software development practicesAbout Red Hat
