We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating and integrating various software solutions, including but not limited to Microsoft 365 applications and SharePoint Online development. This role will also include supporting M365 applications, providing minor development for SharePoint Online, managing security protocols, supporting the Power Platform suite, and training staff on business solutions apps. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in research and development of new applications and platforms, including AI solutions, to meet evolving business needs

What You'll Do

Solution Evaluation and Integration: Evaluate various software solutions and AI technologies to meet business needs and enhance service offerings. Propose innovative solutions and lead pilot projects for new technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse applications with existing business systems. Develop and implement security strategies and policies for software solutions.

 

M365, SharePoint Online, and Low-Code/No-Code Support: Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications. Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint Online sites and solutions. Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint features and best practices. Support the deployment and management of Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Assist users in creating and optimizing low-code/no-code solutions to streamline business processes.
  Scripting (PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, Power Fx): Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, and Power Fx to automate tasks and improve efficiency. Perform database queries and data integration tasks associated with business apps.
  Training and Orientation for Staff on Business Solutions Apps: Collaborate with PAE’s L&D Department to develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on the effective use of business solutions applications. Create user guides, tutorials, and documentation to support staff in utilizing business apps. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to ensure staff are proficient with the tools.
  Change Management for New Product Releases: Manage the adoption of new product releases and updates within the organization. Communicate changes and provide training to ensure smooth transitions. Update documentation and processes to reflect new features and functionalities.
  General Duties: Participate in the execution of IT Service Management (ITSM) controls (e.g., incident, problem, and change management, including after-hours operations and maintenance as necessary). Participate in the development of operational IS documentation (e.g., infrastructure diagrams, standards, policies, procedures, training).
 

What You Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field, or equivalent industry experience. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience evaluating and implementing various software platforms to meet business needs. Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting M365 applications and SharePoint Online. Proven experience with Power Platform tools and low-code/no-code development. Strong understanding of software platform security models and best practices. Experience in scripting with PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, and Power Fx. Experience in developing and delivering training to end-users. Experience scripting and data integration between apps. Microsoft certifications in M365, SharePoint, or Power Platform. Proficient in conducting R&D on new technologies, including AI applications Experience with AI applications. (Preferred) Experience in instructional training and adult learning principles. (Preferred)

 

What We Offer 

 

Hiring Base Salary Range: $89,000-$119,000 annual  This position is eligible for straight overtime pay 

 

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
