Software Support Engineer II
Kforce's client, a growing small to medium size Engineering Technology Company has some openings for a few Software Support Engineers and Senior Software Support Engineers. The company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus and stock/RSU's. Responsibilities: * Software Support Engineers will install software, troubleshoot/debug issues, and conduct training sessions for customers and support engineers * Provide software support to the companies tools and applications deployed at customer sites * Participate in the company's labs to evaluate software/hardware performance during Concept and Feasibility, Alpha, and pilot equipment manufacturing phases * Analyze logs, review software code, and identify root causes of issues * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, process, electrical, mechanical, and product safety engineers, to ensure successful resolution of support requests * Capture data related to software installation, configuration, and maintenance activities * Develop technical training content and documentation * Drive software quality improvement initiatives by collaborating across regions and teams * Plan and execute projects, provide status updates, and manage stakeholders effectively * As a Software Support Engineer, you will contribute to concept and feasibility reviews, Alpha and Beta readiness meetings, and customer escalation reviews * Participate in software qualification assurance, continuous integration testing, and development practices * Support standard software development program management processes * Up to 20% domestic and international travel; You will be at the forefront of delivering innovative software solutions to a global customer base
