Washington St. New Bremen, OH 45869 **Hours:** Monday-Friday, 8am -5pm **Summary of Duties:** Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture. Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements. Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes. Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems. Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Monitor system operation to detect potential problems. Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability. Provide customers or installation teams guidelines for implementing secure systems. Configure servers to meet functional specifications. Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software. Direct the installation of operating systems, network or application software, or computer or network hardware. Train system users in system operation or maintenance. Provide leadership, planning and coordination of the development of software and server installation. Support functions to support AET Products. Lead and guide AET department to become more agile to support the increasing demand for AET installations and customer support demands. Liaise with Engineering Managers, AET Managers, Vendors, and other departments to promote alignment of existing and future project installations. Provide leadership to team members to ensure they have the resources to do their job. Advise and direct team on AET projects. Delegate work and create schedules for the team. Address problems or risks communicated from team members and communicate to the Project Manager. Discuss changes to projects with the project management team that affect deliverables. Track teams progress and provide updates to Project Manager. Oversee and lead development and harmonization of the AET vision, strategy, and plans. Manage team members during the performance of various analyses on current installations as required. Oversee team members with new installation and support efficiencies that support AET capacity planning. Coordinate with various vendors, departments, and other management members to implement these plans. Perform duties such as creating and revising job descriptions, conducting Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing and tracking goals, and completing annual wage reviews. **Education requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, Technology, or related field. **Experience requirements:** Five (5) years of experience as Automation Product Manager, Automation Product Specialist, Application Engineer, Dynamic System Assembly Engineer, or related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Software integration and support; and Automation commissioning tool development. Must also have four (4) years of experience with: Developing, planning, and implementing software projects in customer environments; Reporting architecture and creation; Automation R&D support; and Automation demonstration support.
