Right now, we are experiencing rapid growth and we are looking for smart and energised Electronic Warfare Systems Architect to join our Maritime Combat Management subsystem team.
Work on green fields evolutionary developments to incrementally modernise the Navy’s EW command and control capabilities to meet the demands of an ever-increasing complex maritime environment. The program involves bespoke systems design and development of custom hardware and software subsystems, which will be fully integrated into the ship’s critical systems.

You will join the experienced delivery team working on:
Develop and implement the system and software architecturesWork with customer and other stakeholders to translate their needs into an implementable architectureTransfer knowledge and understanding to new approaches of architecture and design grounded in the application and mentor the broader team to ensure their design is consistent with the architectureOversee the governance of the program architecture within an agile execution model employing modern Digital Engineering and DevOps techniquesIdentify and address technical risks ensure that cost and schedule constraints are managedSupport presentation of the system architecture to program and customer stakeholdersSkills, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum eight years' engineering experienceExperience in the development of complex distributed software systemsExperience in the development of Microservices event-based software architectures utilising technologies such as Kubernetes and Kafka.Experience in architectural development of architectures based on formal architectural standards, such as DoDAF, ToGAF or MoDAF.Excellent written and oral communications skills essentialPrevious exposure to Defence Systems Engineering processes and tools desirableDemonstrable experience in the Electronic Warfare domain desirableExperience in a Defence related industry is highly desirableMust be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV -1.
