Software/System Process Engineer for Automotive Projects

Job Description

The role is in interdisciplinary cooperation of cross-departmental teams in an international environment. As a Software/System Process Engineer your responsibilities will include the following activities:

Mentor automotive software development teams to reach their quality targets and apply their competences into the processes/methods development and improvementsSupport projects in applying the appropriate processes/tools/methods and assist them in implementing of tailored or pragmatic solutionsTrain project teams on ASPICE and internal processesConsult automotive engineering teams in preparation for audits and assessmentsEvaluate process performance using measurements and metricsContribute in the standard processes/tools/methods development of particular divisionsAct as the link between the processes/tools development departments and the software development projectsFollow-up and support local tickets or cases related to the processes/methods/tools compliance

Qualifications

Must have:

3+ years of experience in automotive software/system development projects or in automotive processes improvement activitiesDeep understanding of the V-Model development processSystematic approach and process-oriented mindsetStrong analytical and methodical problem solving skillsAbility to coordinate and communicate with several teams simultaneouslyCreative, enthusiastic and positive attitudeProficiency in English language

Nice to have:

ASPICE experience in taking projects to the next level would be a strong advantagePrevious experience in Automotive QA or System engineering would be an advantagePrevious experience as coach, mentor or trainer would be an advantageKnowledge in ISO 26262 would be an advantageFluency in German would be considered a plus
