Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Industrial Base Management System (IBMS). This position is 100% Remote at the discretion of the Government. The candidate will support the sustainment and modernization of two Department of Defense (DoD) Web Based Applications. The candidate will resolve defects and design and develop software enhancements using the Agile Software Development methodology.

Responsibilities

The primary job responsibilities will include:

System FamiliarizationDatabase Schema ReviewSoftware DesignMockup DevelopmentPrototype DevelopmentAutomated Unit and Accessibility TestingAgile Software DevelopmentSoftware DeploymentsMust have the ability to communicate accurate information Qualifications

Required:

Five (5) years relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or
private sector in the IT fieldMinimum Education: BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experienceDoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level IISecurity + Certification

Desired:

DLA ExperienceDOD ExperienceComputing Environment: CIW Advanced HTML 5 & CSS3 Specialist Certification

 

Salary: 90-115k
